Autumn’s most wanted styles

Autumn’s most wanted styles

It’s the warmest Autumn on record, and yet, the best styles are selling out fast – yes really, even coats! It feels like the warm weather and your Summer clothes will go on forever but things can change very quickly- and usually do!

If you’re looking to update your wardrobe then there is no time like the present to seek out this season’s key pieces. If you need some inspiration, here are five styles my clients have brought over the past few weeks that are selling out fast.

Five of Autumn’s most popular styles

Grey double faced wool coat
I showed this Cos coat on my Stories a couple of weeks ago and the small sizes have already sold out. Grey is the big colour trend of the season but it never goes out of fashion so it’s a great investment buy.

Wide leg cords

This style is part of a collaboration between Uniqlo and designer Clare Waight Keller. The blue colourway has sold out and according to staff will not be replenished – boo! There are three other colours available though – yay!

Water and Wind protection raincoat

This rubberised Zara raincoat is another style that I showed on my Stories a few weeks back. It is more or less sold out now. Could that be because it’s strikingly similar to a well known Danish brand at a fraction of the price?

Boucle knit cardigan

This Massimo Dutti Boucle knit cardigan is such a useful style. It’s ideal for a smart casual work wardrobe as you can dress it up and down. It looks just as good with a midi skirt as it does with jeans and trousers plus it’s very comfortable to wear.

Red Mary Janes

I showed these Aeyde Red Mary Janes in my blog last month and there’s now a waiting list for them. I should add that I’m not suggesting my blog is the cause of them selling out although my subscribers do buy items I recommend. It’s no surprise that these styles are popular as they are easy to wear as well as being stylish and modern – that’s key to creating a wardrobe you love to wear. If your style isn’t available, don’t worry, most of these styles come in alternative colours and you can also find similar styles on the high street.
